Kink in tail?

My Autumn has a bend in her tail it's quite an angle and not giving her any grief but it looks odd. She doesn't flinch when I touch it, and doesn't look like it bothers her at all, but I was wondering if any one has come across this before.
I have a pic but its on my iPad I don't know how to get it on...

Hi, Lottie is 8 months old now and I noticed a kink in her tail a couple of weeks after we got her. It's about an inch or so from the very end and you can feel it quite well. I don't think she even knows she has got it! I suspect that it was damaged within a day or two of her being born but I could be wrong - she certainly hasn't sustained any injuries since we have had her so it must have been done when she was tiny. Maybe she's been listening to The Kinks to much!!
There is one positive to it all - at least I can tell which dog is mine in total darkness!

Ahh, this is the same. It's about an inch from the end, but she is 21 months old now and it has only just gone like it. I know she hasn't damaged it at all, but it just looks funny. Xx

both jack and minnie moo get a kink in the tail when they want the loo once relieved the kink unkinks,handy coz i know when they need to go

I posted about this when Bruno was young, as I thought he was deformed too!!!

Apparently it's part of the poodle gene that gives them a kink. Most poodle crosses have it.

Archie has exactly the same, about an inch from the end of his tail (oops am I showing my age still working in inches )

I tried to find something about it on here but couldn't, I have made an appointment at the vets to check it just incase.

Don't know about poodles (neither of the two we had as kids had it) but I did have a pedigree Persian cat once who had a kink in her tail just like you describe.
