Hi Folks,
Kobi has a graze on lower leg which he keeps licking. Shall I put a dressing on it or leave for air to get to it??? :?

Can you put a sock on it , to stop him licking it. Thats what I do when harley has cut his leg, just for few hours, until he has forgotten about it.

In summer 2015 Dude had to have an op to remove his front dew claws.
He had bandages on both legs for a couple of weeks. At first he licked at them, but, using treats( of course  ) I taught him"No licking".
This worked really well. Every time he licked I'd say No Licking, and give him a little treat. It was even more useful when the bandages came off and he wasn't allowed to lick the stitches. It meant he didn't need to wear The collar of Shame at all! And now, if he's licking for whatever reason, I can tell him to stop! Anny
