Anyone else having problems logging on?

Post by MrsAdmin » 11 Feb 2011, 00:00

I had a strange thing happen tonight. I logged in as usual and it came up that I had exceeded the number of attempts, with incorrect passwords

Eventually I got in but has anyone else had this problem?

Can't think that anyone would want to log in pretending to be me, I have a very boring life

Maybe worth changing passwords folks and not using the same for all forums as I've heard there's a lot of hacking going on lately on dog forums.

Same thing happened to me as well, I didn't know why it said I had exceeded my attempts at the password, it was only my first time logging in today

Seems to be ok now, I think :?

Same thing happened to me yesterday too but all seems fine now. Doesn't the site log you out automatically after a while ?

I occasionally have this problem and have had to get administrator to help out. I thought it was me being a bit slow with computer matters .

I couldn't get on at all. It wouldn't accept my password and user name. It said ther email address couldn't be found, but when I tried re-registering with the same email address it wouldn't let me. Sent an email to the board administrator, but didn't get a reply. In the end I had to use another, little-used, email address that I have, cos I really wanted to get back on!! Different, but similar, to your problem.

I had a similar message yesterday about exceeding log in attempts after only trying once, but I hadn't noticed security bit at bottom where I had to type what was there for additional security :? .. when I logged on today this extra security bit had disappeared, so I am now puzzled.
