Names?
Names?
Hi there - just thought that it would be nice if everyone put their real name in their signature. It means that we all know the names of the people that we are talking to, which gives a more friendly feeling to posts. At the moment we've no idea who we are talking to!
It doesn't need to be their full name - just their first names. I'm happy to do it and shall start the ball rolling!
What do you think?

Re: Names?
Hello! We do too! I am Michelle, im indoors is called Chris and we own a brewery (although I still work as an accountant), hence the name 'Stout'. We also have a parrot called Dylan who is 13, and two parakeets called Fuggles and Goldings who are 6, which are types of hops (no prizes for guessing who named them!). No kids!
Re: Names?
Oh, I am stupid! I didn't realise! Silly me.
Well it's lovely to be here and talk to everyone. I like forums where people are dedicated to their animals.

Re: Names?
By the way, I have just looked at your website (busy trying to avoid doing work!) It looks fab. You can get a similar thing for birds. They are pyramid shape and are open at each end (so tails don't get squished/bent). Just an idea if you fancy branching out to birds (sorry 'bout the pun!). I am sure my ickle 'keets would get one for their hatchday!
Re: Names?
I'm not anonymous either, cos my name is Bid! I have three doodles - Daisy (cream), Poppy (brownish) and Beamish (black), and a long haired moggy called Spike

What sort of thing would you like for your birds? Things for them to nest in (sort of)? I mean like a cube or a triangle that hangs and they can sit in?stout wrote:By the way, I have just looked at your website (busy trying to avoid doing work!) It looks fab. Would they like to have it covered on the top? And how big would it need to be? Sorry so many questions.....! I'm glad that you liked the look of my stuff. I am very proud of my business.

Re: Names?
Birds are a bit tricky, you have to be carefully they can't get heads/feet stuck in things. There is a haning thing for sleeping in called a 'sleepy teepee' which will give you an idea. It is basically a hanging pyramid of fabric with open front/back. I am sure you will find it if you google it. I would say a smooth fabric would be better (rather than fleece) so claws don't get stuck. As for size, our 'keets are about 5 inches beak to tail, and the parrot 8 inches, but he is quite a wee breed.
Hope this helps!

I am relatively new to the site and go under the name of donkeydoodlelulu. My name is Alison and my puppy is called Lulu - think she is going to be the size of a donkey - hence the name
. I live on a farm in Lancashire with my husband, son, Lulu, Bruno our very old cross collie and our hens.

Re: Names?
Hi,
My name is Josephine (Jo), I have a hubby, Paul, two teenagers, Harriet and Billy and a cream doodle, Jasper, who at 5 months also has donkey potential
I like this thread because everyone starts to feel real.
Ok I've just retread that and it sounds completely daft so I'm just going to shut up now.
