Devon Diehards Sunday March 3rd

Post by annvinton » 27 Feb 2013, 12:31

Hi Folks,

Look forward to seeing you all on Sunday.

I have asked the Boathouse to keep a couple of tables in our usual "raised area"
for those wanting lunch.

Meeting at 12 o'clock on the grassy area next to the car park ............ late comers ....... just go on the beach and look for Dashing Doodles.

Tables are booked for "one to one thirty" in the name of "Vinton".

Ken and Marion are hoping to make it with Harvey ......... but may be late.

Fingers crossed for sun ................ well, Ruth's not coming

Are you SURE you can't make it?

Ben would love to give Dillon a run along the beach.

And we could all come suitably dressed for the weather. :D :D

We're packing the umbrellas and galoshes as I type

We're coming too, if we can get out of Brixham. they have closed the one road in because of some trees being removed by crane as the Council insist that not one twig much be allowed to touch the road

Hello all

I hope everyone had a good walk today. I'm really gutted we couldn't make it with Tonic.

She is having her second jab tomorrow so we will DEFINITELY be at the next one ... I think she is absolutely busting to get out of the house/garden and go on a proper dash :D :D

Yes, it would be nice to get to the Warren again before we are banished to the far end of the beach,
but the last Sunday in March is Easter Sunday, which is NOT a good idea.
That brings us back to the 24th .............. or failing that, how many people can do a weekday?

I hope everyone is OK.

I have gone down with suspected Novovirus and crashed out to sleep for hours after we got back on Sunday, then spent the last two days in bed coughing and puking

Just to cap it all, Mum fell over in the street and has broken her wrist, possibly cracked a rib and smashed her front crown

Our trip to London to finalise wedding arrangements if off now.

:( Oh bad luck indeed . I hope your mum makes a speedy recovery and that you and Martin are on the mend fairly soon.
Give my best wishes to you mum Cecilia
Javan is off school with a sickness bug too, not severe enough for it to be Noro though.
Re next meet,
I can do a weekday so I can help with Evie Kats.
