North East. MESS walks for 2017
We Try And Meet Every Second Sunday................M.E.S.S, Plus Extra walks and we highlight important Doodle shows .
North East Dog Walks for 2017
Labradoodle/Cockapoo's and any other breeds that care to join our M.E.S.S. (Meet Every Second Sunday) walks are welcome.
The North East region have informal meets for owners, prospective owners, breeders etc.... In fact it’s just a great day out for the Doods and to let your dog go off leash and enjoy themselves and socialise !!! We are usually out for a couple of hours, no route marches and of course the Doods get loads of fun and frolics.
These walks have been going for over 9 years and we have learnt a few things when out on these walks. There is always a does and don't list but it is there to make your day and the dogs day out enjoyable. If the walk is too much do shout out and let us know you are turning back.
ON THE WALKS PLEASE DO NOT THROW FRISBEES OR BALLS AS THERE CAN BE A POSSESSION ISSUE, ALSO IF YOUR DOG IS ON HEAT PLEASE DO NOT BRING AS IT'S TEMPTATION FOR THE BOY DOGS..If you have treats be prepared to be mugged by dogs and also be aware that some dogs have allergies, so please ask the owner if it's all right to give treats to their dog.
PLEASE ALSO WEAR THE CORRECT CLOTHING AS THE NORTH EAST CAN BE COLD, WET AND WINDY, WELLIES ARE ALWAYS A GOOD IDEA AS WELL AS TOWELS TO DRY YOUR DOG/DOGS OFF.
IF YOU HAPPEN TO BE IN THE FRONT OF THE WALK PLEASE HAVE CONSIDERATION FOR THE PEOPLE WHO ARE NOT AS SPEEDY OR PEOPLE WITH YOUNG PUPS AND NOT TO GO ROMPING AHEAD. WE DO NOT WANT A SITUATION WHERE WALKERS ARE LEFT AND OTHERS LOST OR TURNED AROUND TO WALK BACK AS THEY WERE UNSURE WHERE TO GO.
ALWAYS CHECK PRIOR TO THE WALK DATE ON Face Book JUST TO SEE IF THERE’S ANY AMENDMENTS OR CANCELLATIONS
New Year’s Day: 2017 Seaton Sluice, 12.00 along the beach this will allow the sea air to unclog heads and after the walk maybe a hair of the dog at the Kings Arms.
