Re: Downtime today
I haven't been on for a while as we had a bereavement in the family and when I came on yesterday and it wasn't here, well that felt like the last straw
So glad you guys are here, I need to know you are.

So sorry to hear your sad news Gill. Yes we are here. Piet is sending bug sloppy licks to you and wet nose nudges

Aw thanks Sally and Piet, I can add that to the tripey kiss I just got, and the arm chewing, which was not so welcome!Glitterbug wrote:So sorry to hear your sad news Gill. Yes we are here. Piet is sending bug sloppy licks to you and wet nose nudges![]()
I have to say thought that there was nothing better than coming back from the crematorium to find an ecstatic doodle, you can't help but smile. I cheered myself up by popping into Pets at Home and buying him a ball which talks when its nudged. It was hilarious watching him size this up. I think I need to post this on YouTube.
My husband was saying he is just a complete blessing and the perfect dog for us, he has never laughed so much for a long time and with him around we just can't feel sad for long, so for that we can forgive him the at present insane biting. I feel like Sam with Jackson when we first joined. So I hope this 18 months prediction of chewing I read on another post does not included 18 months of chewing us!! For an intelligent dog he is pretty thick about this. He bites us, he gets time out. DUH, its simple. Apparently not.

Sorry to hear you have had sad times Gill (big hug) but you are so right about Doods lifting your spirit even if you are very sad, it's something that they all appear to be very good at
Wishing you happier days ahead.
