Alfie started agility this week, joined in the middle of a beginners class that had been going for 5 weeks, he did so well and i was so pleased with him. he seemed to catch up really well and at the end could do everything the others did.
it was so funny tho because there was a collie that took a shine to him. at first i couldnt work it out, the collie coudnt take his eyes off Alf, kept laying low and stalking! as they do, trying to run at him. he just couldnt do a thing asked of him except stare at my dog. it got to the stage i was a bit embarrassed!
in the end the collies owner came up to me and asked if her collie could come and meet Alfie, just to let him know that alfie was a dog and not a sheep! her poor dog thought Alf was a sheep and wanted rounding up!
well he actually does look like a sheep with his thick fleecy coat and hes the right colour too!

haha! Yeah, this has happened to Poppy, too!
And we have a few 'little lamb' comments - which I actually find rather lovely, as my OH's nickname was little lamb when he was a baba (with curly white hair and the youngest of 4) and lambs are cute, aren't they?!
I find it pretty funny though with the collies. haha!

Even the sheep in the fields near us run to my dogs thinking they are sheep too then when they get close and see they are not the same species they run in the opposite direction very funny every time.
