Wispa and I went over to visit with my sister in law and nephew this afternoon. Wispa and Henry got along so well, with the exception of when Henry grabbed Wispa's ear, she yelped, and he was so surprised he cried!

At one point Henry put his entire hand in Wispa's mouth while she was licking his fingers, but she was so good and never once closed her mouth!!

I think they might be new best friends :D

Immi certainly is under the impression that our 3 year old tastes pretty good, particularly his clothing! I'm forever having to detatch her from him, but he is very good about it, he understands she is only a baby and is still learning the rules of human interactions.

Wonderful photos btw!

Aww, I'm so glad the meeting went well! Great photo of a big lick!

Barney tries to lick kid's faces every now and then but they normally have some kind of cheezy wotsit or yoghurt smeared all over them

What lovely photos :D

Alfie loves toddles, they always taste so yummy   If we see any outside i have to make him sit till they pass, otherwise they get a washed face or he tries to climb in pushchair with them  ( he nearly 3 and 30kg  )

Wispa at the perfect age to do lots of training re- food guarding just to be on safe side. My granddaughter thought once how nice it would be to try Alfie's lunch  but i trained him so well he just backed away and sat and waited till she finished :P

Henry had just been eating his snack when we met them by the station, and he kept putting his hand out of the pushchair for wispa to lick the gunk off! Instant friends!

I can see why that might be a problem -pushchairs just aren't designed to hold the weight; that's the only issue, right?

And it was just as much training for Henry as it was for Wispa. They have an 8-year old rescue dog with food guarding issues, and she's growled at Henry in the past, so they have to keep a very close eye on them together and keep them apart a lot, so Meghan wanted to get Henry to know a friendly dog he can play with (gently), and Wispa was the perfect candidate!

Lovely photo's and wispa looks so gentle and caring - the toddler obviously needed a wash and wipe !!!
Doodles are so intuitive and know to be calmer around little people (well most of the time anyway)
My two have not been brought up with kids but just seem to know to not be quite so bouncy around them - but choccy bikki's are fair game I'm afraid

Phoebe has always loved kids of all ages. It's really odd as when I got her, the only reservation her Mum's owner had about letting me have her was that she had wanted the puppy to go to a family with children. She had two toddlers and she felt that Phoebe was so good with the kids she should have some of her own (so to speak).

I have none, but as you know from my previous posts, and the children's party we had last weekend, Phoebe now has a street full of kids to play with!

I love it! Unfortunately, it looks like everyone in my neighbourhood is 60+, but sometimes I manage to get Wispa out for a walk when the local primary school lets out and she gets so much attention from the kids walking home :)
