The perils of grass seeds!

Not a doodle story - but this grass seed was found up one of my cats noses today! He had been sneezing for a while and then started to have blood from his nose yesterday. So put under this morning, and this humongous grass seed was found! evil seeds!

Poor puss - I bet he feels beter without that! I loathe those particular seeds - they lurk in doodle hair and are really hard to get out!

Poor cat, such a little thing that causes so much discomfort.
A couple of years ago my friends lab kept sneezing, a grass seed was found and the dog needed to be sedated before it was removed.
Sticky buds are around at the moment which are a nightmare on Dixie's coat.

Dexter likes to roll in grass . I spend ages per evening getting them out. One had started to imbed in the pit of his front leg,once out happy dood,not frantically trying lick said problem to death thus making it worse! Such a lovely chore after a day at work! I"m learning how many different types of grass seads there are ! H and D

I recently removed a similar seed from the ear hole of my local farmer. Thank goodness for the practice I have had removing them from various doggy ears, paws, noses and other holes over the years Have to say my friend the farmer was in a lot of pain and made almost as much fuss as Scrumpy does - at one point I was seriously considering a muzzle

Something like this seed once embedded in my collie's skin - and started to grow!! Always a good idea to check out your dood or cat regularly... Thank goodness your cat is feeling better now, poor little guy.
