[img][img][/img][/img]Dear All,

I recently met a lovely lady on the beach who seemed to have a fair old knowledge of dogs and I was telling her that my doodle Khanna seemed to be running with a slight limp in her left hip anyway she suggested that I make a golden paste or turmeric paste which is the same thing and that I try her on that, anyway having now looked it up on line it seems as if it is actually a known aide for humans and dogs so I too have been busy in the kitchen with my turmeric, olive oil, black pepper corns and have been giving her three teaspoons a day with kefir or on her dinner and she seems to not mind it even though it tastes foul to me, I shall certainly giving it a good try for at least a month to see if it helps so has anyone else tried this and did it help you and your dog with aches and pains, I would try anything natural first but will need to take to the vets if I thought it was worse which at the moment is not thankgod thanks all Carol x

Yes I tried it for Daisy who has arthritis. It made no difference to her, but other people seem to have found it beneficial. I now have a ton of organic turmeric in my larder!

YES! Yes! YEs! Brilliant stuff.

My Coco has HD and it has really transformed her life. Also, my husband takes it for arthritis and it has totally alleviated his pain in his knees.

I'm lazy, so we buy it ready-made from here. It's still very cheap - about £2.50 every three weeks. We buy the one with added apple cider vinegar which also helps with inflammation.

I have just come back from the brewery and made a batch for stout (he seems to be bunny hopping and walking a bit stiffer) and chris (he got shigella on holiday and has developed reactive arthritis as a result). They both had some with tea today. Fingers crossed!
