We have golden doods here too.....and honorary doods.
Your girls coat looks more like a retrievers coat so that is why I asked.
She will be gorgeous no matter how her coat turns out....
One of my boys an F2 has tight curls on his head,shoulders,legs and tail but has a broken coat along his back.
My other an F1b has a Poodle coat but long silks ears... and if he wasn't clipped he would have dreadlocks..
That is the joy of doods....you have to wait and see how they turn out

I feared it would be a wait and see kind of thing she’s got a lovely temperament and is lots of fun even if she does look rather messy at the moment. Her adult coat is growing through, and the result? Puppy fur is everywhere...lots of grooming has helped though

Re the shedding and looking at your pup's coat type you might take a look at using a furminator(available on-line)
It's a really useful tool for that type of coat ...no good for the curly coats though.
It need to be used gently following the instructions.
Don't forget to post when she gets her big girls coat
Also a slicker brush is very useful.

Definitely more updates coming! My parents have a special dog/pet vacuum cleaner that’s worked wonders around the house and since I’m grooming her 2x daily we’re managing alright. I can’t wait for her to get her big girls coat, although I do think I’ll miss the puppy phase!
