Fancy meeting up for walk Crosby/Fornby at end of Feb?

Caroline, Ollie and I are on holiday in Liverpool (Birkenhead) for the last week of Feb and wondered if anyone fancied meeting up?

There had been a suggestion on the forum of a walk at either Crosby beach or Forby, either of which would be good for us....or if people know of somewhere else around there.

We are basically free anytime from Mon 22nd Feb til Sat 27th Feb inclusive.

Ollie would love to meet some other doodles and have a run around!

That’s great you can make it. It looks like the Saturday (27th) is best for everyone so let’s go for that and go to Crosby Beach – really looking forward to seeing the Antony Gormley statues.

Are people happy with an afternoon walk? At say 2pm? That way the tide will be out and we will get the full impact of the statues.
Or if the majority of people would prefer a morning walk we could meet at say 11.30am and the statues should be emerging from the water (high tide is at just before 10am). Let me know what you think. Bring your wellies!

The car park closest to the statues is at the corner of Hall Road West and Burbo Bank Road North, Blundellsands, postcode L23 8SY http://www.sefton.gov.uk/PDF/Burbo%20Green,%20Blundellsands.pdf
Parking is free. It is quite a large car park so let’s meet at the entrance of it with our doods.

I will PM you with my mobile number in case of problems/delays on the day. I am hoping to have email access during the week we are up there, but just in case I don’t just drop me a text or a call if you can’t make it, are held up etc.
