Having set a new world record for the number of pages of UKLA open at one time , I have now got all the nominations sorted out and the time has come to vote Ladies and Gentlemen.

There will be polls on all 14 categories and you have one vote on each category. Voting will last until about 11pm on Monday 15th February, then the full awards will be announced (sort of like the Oscars) on Wednesday 17 February.

So the first category is:

The Super Poster of 2009 – the person who contributes most to the UKLA Forum

And the nominations are:

Nomination 1 – Carole G – for all her expert skill and knowledge of pedigrees, helping to unravel puppy farmer lies.

Nomination 2 - Katherine (KateW) – for her rapid researching of all manner of problems on matters Dog and Doodle when crisis looms

Nomination 3 – Linda (Amber) – for always being there, often late at night, with advice on puppy problems.

Nomination 4 – All the Snuggles Mums – for the endless thread of ‘Snuggles’ prior, during and post the Snuggles pups birth – a valuable resource for reference and reality on the early days of Doodlehood.

Nomination 5 - Rosie (Rosikus) for being the young person always prepared to help 'oldies' with technical problems and an easy guide on posting pics.

Nomination 6 - Linny - for practical advice, telling it how it is and calling a spade 'a muck shovel'
