I haven't posted for a while, hello if you remember me and a big hello to all the lovely new puppies on here :D

I'm still checking in to see what everyone is up to and Wurly still has me in stitches-bless her

I've been asked by another member for some photo's of the artificial lawn I had fitted. I know some of you have thought about it previously and in my opinion it is fantastic and I love not having muddy paw prints everytime Murphy goes out in the garden.

Hi Lindsey, I hope you are feeling much better and enjoyed the olympic torch-I feel like a stalker

I used The Grass Factory because I liked the colour of the product, I went for The Richmond:

Thank you, we went for the deeper pile and it's squishy, the children are out there without shoes on all the time and we have had buckets of rain, it's a lot softer than the old lawn to fall and play on.

Murphy is great, his coat has changed colour and he's no longer chocolate, here's a photo from his 2nd birthday earlier in the month:

Hi Kirstie, lovely to see that you'd posted :D .

What can I say, your garden looks so fantastic :D . That lawn is just beautiful & the rest of your garden too. I love the shape of it, very eye catching. It's something we've been thinking about, but I know it's not cheap, so Hubby says I have to stop buying roses before we can do the lawn, spoil sport  .

Murphy looks so different, love his change of color he looks so gorgeous. Great photo of him on his birthday. :D

I'm pleased Wurly's still making you smile.

Hi Kirsty. Hope you had a lovely day with Dawn & Luna and that the rain stayed away. Murphy is so cute! What colour is he now? He looks almost grey/cream. Your garden looks great by the way. Lola has made a bit of a mess of ours so its something to consider for next year :D :D

Kirstie, just had a look at the website & the Richmond lawn, did you lay it yourself or get processionals in :?: . I'm going to show hubby the photo's, just so he can see how beautiful it looks, & Murphy of course nothing like a gorgeous photo of a doodle to soften him up. Wish me luck. :D

Thanks for all your lovely comments :D A thank you button would be lovely!

Alison, We had a great day with Dawn and the lovely Luna :D Murphy is very much a grey/cream colour with some black, brown and white thrown in, I'm tempted to ask for a refund on the chocolate doodle I bought, he's faded in the wash

Nicky, It was you that got me onto the David Austin roses, I bought everyone vouchers for xmas and I've just sent one to a friend after a bereavement and I know which I'd like :D

We had it installed, which was the only problem we had with the company, they use contractors and they are usually landscape gardeners who set their own prices. Our local one quoted for the lower pile grass and then the price he gave us for the deeper pile was silly. We went to look at another company and by coincidence we had a call from The Grass factory on the way back, I explained I wasn't happy and she got a contractor who only fits artificial grass to install ours-he was great and managed to get it down before my birthday, the lawn was my present  .
There are lots of companies out there and lots of different colours, depths and styles of grass. I just liked the sample from the grass factory and believe me, I had a lot of samples. I've got lots of off cuts if you'd like me to send you a sample or if you want different colours they will post some out. I've got loads more photo's from the installation if you'd like me to send you some to show OH :D
