Just back from a camping trip at Flamingoland, and Cooper seemed to be the star attraction both on campsite and in theme park, we also visited Whitby for the day and couldn't get further than 3 steps without people stopping us or staff coming out of shops to see 'the big dog' lol

Cooper took all the attention in his stride, even the ones that took photies of him, was so proud of him as he behaved fantastic, no jumping up or mouthing anyone....

Think all the fresh air knackered him out and he didn't have the energy for his usually shenanigans.

Does everyone else get stopped so much as we get the usual comment where we live but last week was as if he was the first dog to ever exist lol

I just love having a doodle especially when he behaves himself, and also when he's mischievous too x

I have certainly noticed doodles draw a lot of attention! So far with Immi I think it is as much the fluffy-cute-puppy effect as anything. But people always ask what breed she is, and say "she's like a teddybear!"

I don't get stopped with Barney half as much as I'd hoped but I suspect it's because he's a big dog. I hope when he calms down a bit he might get even more fusses! He just loves getting cuddles from strangers so it's a shame he doesn't get more.

We are still getting stoped ,to ask what sort of dog he is,and mainly cause of hes size they all talk about how a big dog he is .I went to car boot sale and a lady had a cocapoo ,and i told her id fetch dexter out of the car for her too see him she was frighted to touch him at first.cause she didnt like big dogs ,but after a bit she loved him.I love it when i hear people in the background say look at that dog he is a nice one,or look how well behaved he is and calm, but takes it away when he goes and chases a cat over the road the other day he as never run over a road and it did frighten me.

Having been camping neighbours at Doodlefest - I can honestly say that the handsome Dexter is indeed a gentle giant. A lovely boy and sooooo big too. I can understand how people are facinated by what breed he is and how sweet natured he is - Pixie and Jazz loved him

Well Cooper is a wee star. What a reception he got, & he behaved himself too, such a good boy. :D

We don't get stopped but get laughed at a lot, because Wurly's normally carrying something in her mouth  (she walks a lot better if she's carrying something) At the moment it's an old slipper 8) .

Unlike the wonderfully behaved Cooper :D , Wurly's also a jumper, she gets over excited.

Glad it's not just us then! We can hardly walk more than a few yards without someone wanting to pat Monty or take his photo or ask all about him.

We were on holiday in Yorkshire too and found the people there loved Monty even more than they do at home, especially in Whitby where he was mobbed!!

Luckily he's a very calm gentle boy and takes it all in his stride!

Leah

ps we all loved Flamingoland too and it was great to be able to bring the dog - wish more places were dog-friendly

I can't believe u don't get stopped all the time as Barney is just gorgeous. I'd certainly be stopping if I saw him. Think some people are a bit wary now with dogs, although ours are big softies. xx

Yes we too get stopped alot with Lola. We get alot of people thinking she is a water spaniel though  or little children think she is a teddybear  Makes me feel very proud to be a doodle owner :D
