Hello everyone

Let us introduce ourselves and our dogs.

We have a old and slow collie, she is 13 now, and not one but two doodle pups.

First there was Ben, he is a chocolate shaggy coat boy, born 29th April who is a lot of fun.
Next as if we are not mad enough we decided to get him a pal, we did look at a brother from same litter however dropped that and acquired a little bundle of fluff called Hugo. He was born 5th May so only six days younger than Ben but at vets last night to get Hugo's ID chip fitted he weighed 5.2kg with Ben 10.2kg.
Both enjoy usual doodle tricks, stealing crocs or slippers is particular fun.

Meg our collie is not too sure about all his but likes the fact they torment each other an leave her to snooze in peace.
Now to copy links from photos onto here!

Two gorgeous little bundles of doodle fun!

I don't want to rain on your parade, but it does worry me the increasing number of people who get two puppies about the same age :( . Puppies need a LOT of 1-2-1 attention, and it takes double the time with two. As long as people are aware that they can't do the training together, or let them play together all the time, and as long as they have all the extra time to train, play and exercise them on their own, then it's fine, but please don't leave them to bond as a pair without bonding first and more with you! If they are left to their own devices they will become an independant unit, and won't need or pay attention to anyone else - lord know what problems that could cause with dogs as clever as doodles!

Having said all that, it's not all doom and gloom, and given all the 1-2-1 time and attention they need two dogs are a huge amount of fun - it's just worth being aware of the pitfalls :D
