Really looking forward to seeing everyone this Sunday. Fingers crossed the rain will stay away long enough for us all to have a great day.

We will be meeting on the car park of St Mary's Church, Lymm WA13 0AL at 10.30 to start the Heritage Trail. This goes full circle around the damm and looks lovely.

See you all Sunday :D x

(sorry my signature picture seems to have gone  )

Parking in a church car park on a Sunday at 10:30 may be difficult and it's not a huge car park. Hopefully there will be room at the pub next door or along the main road itself.
I don't see many other options for parking.

Hello,

Sad that we can't make this one :( , but we've friends staying this weekend. Lymm Dam's one of our favourite spots too, we used to go there a lot before we moved.

There is a car park for the Dam if you go past the pub (with the pub on your right) and take the first turn on the right and turn right again there is a smallish car park.

Hope you all have fun, can't wait to see the photos!

Sarah and Simon

I've just been for a scout round Lymm Dam and the car park suggested by Noglet (Sarah & Simon) is a better bet.
The car park is well signposted from the village.
A word of warning if you are approaching along the A56. The road is closed between the Jolly Thresher crossroads at Broomedge, virtually all the way to the car park road. The alternative routes round it are not great.
If you are approaching from J20 M6, or that direction, there is no problem.

Really looking forward to the meet, it looks like the rain will hold off too! :D

Quick question too, which way are planning on going round the route, around the dam first, or around the village first? I ask this because Immi is still rather young at three and a half months, so we won't take her much over a mile, preferably around the dam so we can let her off to play with the other doods.

Ah that's great! :D The EH trail is like a figure of eight, around the dam and then up and around the village and back down to the car park or vice versa.

Thanks Alison and Dawn for organising a great walk, a good turn out and it was lovely to meet everyone :D

Just on our way home for a shower, I'll try and get some photos on later!

It was was lovely to come along and meet everyone, and of course all the doodles! Such a wonderful variety of doods from the tiny Ruby to the giants Hector and Murphy. We all had a great time, on the way home Dylan was already asking to go see all the labidoodoos again! :D Immi is flat out under the table on her rug! Thanks very much for organising it Dawn and Alison.
