Re: Been a long long time.

Yes! I remember you, glad Moo is doing well, but sorry you've been poorly. I can't believe your dog is 10 now, mine is 12 this year, where did the time go?

Re: Snuggles' Puppies are 11 tomorrow

Oh I’m sorry yours does too. Very interesting though. Did you let Bridget know? Ours is on medication every 8 hours and has had quite a few issues with it. He also has canine paroxysmal dyskinesia which also causes seizures. Edited to add Murphy’s also started when he was three.

Re: Snuggles' Puppies are 11 tomorrow

Oh wow! So glad to hear from another brother and that he's doing ok.

How has yours been health wise, we've had major issues with Murphy including epilepsy?

Snuggles' Puppies are 11 tomorrow

Oh my goodness! Where did that time go, I can't believe Murphy and his brothers and sisters will be 11 tomorrow. Are any of his siblings still on here? They were from Bridget in Weymouth, Dorset.

Re: Needing any info on Epiphen?

The milk thistle I used was in capsule form, I used to split open the capsules and sprinkle it on his food. He weighs about 24kg and had 250mg twice a day, then when his liver levels started to raise I gave him 500mg twice a day. Human grade milk thistle is perfectly ok to use, I used to buy mine fr...

Re: Needing any info on Epiphen?

Hi Sue Sorry this is so late replying but I don't come on here very often! My dog was on Epiphen for about three years for his epilepsy. It can damage the dog's liver so it's worth protecting this by giving milk thistle with the epiphen. It is also essential that you get at least six monthly blood t...

Re: Again i'm back about Seizures

Sorry to read this. My dog was diagnosed with epilepsy 7 years ago, my first advice would be to find a new vet. If your dog is having this many seizures he definitely needs medication. If you google epileptic kindling you will see that once a dog starts having regular seizures, the brain learns to h...

Snuggles Puppies!

For those of you who were here 10 years ago and followed Snuggles Puppies can you believe they will be 10 on Sunday, where has that time gone?! I've tried to find the original post, I think there was about 50 pages of it, but I can't find it! I must admit with all Murphy's health issues there has be...
